I’m Joel Loughrin. This site collects the things I’ve built and explored. Here’s a little of the life behind that work.
My family
My amazing wife and I got married in 2010, and we have six children together. She’s a homeschooling mom, an author, and an influencer in the homeschooling community. Raising our family has been part of every chapter of my education and work.
An education alongside life
I earned my undergraduate degree while working 50 hours a week, attending classes at night, and raising a young family. I made the dean’s list and graduated with honors, then continued directly into an MBA.
Along the way, I received a Boesel award at Baldwin Wallace. School, work, and family weren’t separate chapters. They happened together.
What I’m working on
My work spans personal projects, client work, and my role at Hyland. Some projects begin with a business need; others begin with something I want to explore. You can see the thinking and the results throughout this site.
